JULY 2015 NEWSDUMPSTER

Looking For Hungrytown On 12-Inch Vinyl?  Well, It'll Have To Be At Least 48 Inches For Both Of Us To Fit.

Having reached our western terminus in Lewistown, Montana last week, this Newsdumpster rolls to you from Lake Richmond, South Dakota, as we begin the return portion of our 2015 Further Midwest Tour. Now that we've performed in North Dakota, Nevada, Utah, Kansas, Nebraska, Alaska and Hawaii remain the only US states yet to be sullied by us, and we hope that you found this sentence a tiny bit confusing. Our route back to Vermont will plop us on stage in South Dakota, Michigan, Indiana, New York and Maine, just to be near the sea.

As the photo reveals, we have spent much of our down time stuffing envelopes and boxes with swag, gradually fulfilling our commitment to our supporters who supported us in our successful crowd-funding effort that allowed us to emit Further West, which has been getting a terrific amount of national airplay in folk circles. The stuffings are still in progress, so if you haven't received a package from Hungrytown yet, either we'll get to you soon or you didn't buy anything. If you're looking for a new and excellent way to purchase new and improved Hungrytown music and merchandise, which may include T-shirts, posters, tote bags, silverware and live animals, please visit our new page at Bandcamp.

Yes, we have too many photos from this tour, and you can find them here.

UK Residents: Think You're Safe In Your Own Home?

We're currently pumping the bilge water out of our 2015 Double-Crossing the Pond Tour from 4 September to 9 October.  House concerts are taking off in your homeland, so if you have accommodations remotely suitable for a Hungrytown show with some friends, family or odd neighbors, please check our calendar to find where we'll be and when, and get in touch with rebecca@hungrytown.net.  If you've never done this type of thing before, stop worrying--we can guide you through the finer points of hosting a house concert and Rebecca will ensure that Ken doesn't dig up your garden.
