December 2016 Newsdumpster

DECEMBER 2016

If We Had All the Answers, We'd Put the Universities Out of Business.

As you may have guessed, people ask us a lot of questions, especially about Ken's issues. In this year-end Newsdumpster, we thought we'd answer a few of the most common ones in a respectful and unhelpful way.

Do you get stage fright?
Yes, but we also get off-stage fright.

Do you two ever fight?
Yes, but only in public.

Why do you play at so many libraries?
It pays our overdue fines.

Do you get tired of singing the same songs?
We never sing the same song twice. At least not in the same set.

Why do you take so many pictures of yourselves at restaurants?
So we can set up the camera on our neighbor's table.

Why do you showcase in so many of your photos?
Because if we didn't, something terrible would happen.

If the Blue Meanie were a person, what kind of person would it be?
A miserable and hateful one who hangs out around parking lots.

Do you ever get tired of traveling?
Yes, but we get equally tired of staying home.

When, where and how big is your next tour?
Starting January, covering the southern, northwestern and midwestern US, New Zealand and the UK, for six months. Told you it was big.

How many subscribers and Facebook likes did you lose after last month's Newsdumpster?
About 25 and 10, respectively.

Some of these questions look kind of phony--are you just making them up?
Could the Newsdumpster have achieved its status in the journalism world by being anything less than honest?

Is this the last question?
No.

Since this is the final Newsdumpster of 2016, do you have any year-end words for your readers?

Yes. We wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season and much happiness for 2017 and beyond.

Love,
Ken and Rebecca
