DECEMBER 2018 NEWSDUMPSTER

A New Beginning. Not Really--I Just Like How That Sounded.

The Newsdumpster took a month off in order to--well, take a month off. We have also switched newsletter services and transfered our mailing list which is, of course, still utterly private. It has come to our attention, however, that some new names may have been added inadvertantly, and some taken away, also inadvertantly. So please allow us to welcome any new subscribers, whether or not you are here willingly. And to our subscribers who were accidentally unsubscribed, we offer our heartfelt appolgies, especially since you are unaware that we are offering our heartfelt appoligies because you were accidentally unsubscribed.

It also turns out that some subscribers might also be getting concert solicitations intended for certain venues. If you happen to get one of these, please let us know. Better yet, recommend us to your favorite library or other venue, or just book us yourselves.

One of the worst snowstorms that anyone's seen in ages mopped up most of Vermont in the few days before we left on our 2019 Further West Tour, and our neighbors tell us that our house has electricity again, after five days without. The fact that this storm happened in November makes it all the more rude.

We're finally in the express lane to Florida, where we will tarry until the end of this month, followed by Mississippi, Texas, and points west towards California. We're still adding shows for the route home, sometime in March or April, so don't think you can escape us that easily.

This Newsdumpster was put together hastily at a truck stop somewhere in Georgia--since we need to be in mid-state Florida today, we'll save the bullet points for next month.

Season's greetings and wishing you much happiness in the new year!

Love,

Rebecca and Ken

Our 2019 Further West Tour photo album is now underway. And our 2018 Home Turf photo albums, Part 1 and Part 2, are now done, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

Cindy: Mommy, is there a Santa Claus?
Mother: Cindy, you're fifty--you should have figured this out by now.
Cindy: I visit http://hungrytown.net and http://facebook.com/hungrytown every day, but they don't talk about this stuff.
Mother: If your dad were alive, he'd smack you.
