So Much Time, So Little to Do. Oh, Wait, That's Backwards.
We've now spent our first full month in, and most of this year's earnings on, the new Hungrytown Homestead, just down the lane from our previous, and simpler, and tinier, and tinnier, and diggedy, digs. We had occupied our previous dwelling for 13 years, remarkably, longer than either of us had hitherto lived in one place. Not surprisingly, the Blue Meanie felt slighted by this imposition and acted out by passive-agressively leaking water on our heads, forcing us to fix the rooftop air conditioner, as well as failing to stop when asked politely, forcing us to pay for a major brake job. We figure we'd better give the Blue Meanie what it wants, since we're relying on it to take us on our upcoming four-month 2018 Further West Tour, beginning in December this time. But that's for next month.
Fact is, since we returned from our six-and-a-half-month 2017 Further West Tour in July, between house-buying, house-setting-up, barn insulating, barn insulting, Blue Meanie husbandry, gigging and giggling, we've hardly had two minutes to rub together. Here are a few goals we intend to meet this month, before we're homesick again:
- Get the Blue Meanie out of the repair shop.
- Figure out how to install a clothes dryer.
- See Vermont.
- Buy a fly swatter for upstairs.
- Pretend to have a home life.
- Hire someone to drywall the barn because we're not doing it.
- See if the milk's gone off.
- Order some Hungrytown music and merchandise so we have something to sell on tour.
Our two most recent photo albums, now better than ever:

Wondering what do be thankful for this American Thanksgiving? How about the fact that Hungrytown.net and Facebook.com/hungrytown are totally awesome? Because everything the Newsdumpster says is a fact, right?
