After a delighful and awesome house concert in North Carolina, we drove 460 miles to Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC to park the Blue Meanie long term and crawl aboard our first ever flight to Dublin, Ireland. In other words, our 2016 Into the Cornfield Tour of the Midwest and South has ended, and our 2016 Double-Crossing the Pond Tour of the British Isles has begun. Huzzah! We have three shows on the Emerald Isle and will loiter about until September 6th, then on to Great Britain until the end of October.
This Newsdumpster has been squeezed in between gigs; therefore, we have had to cut corners in terms of quality and quantity of content, compared with our typical product, which is much better. Areas where this Newsdumpster has had to suffer:
- Substandard pfooreading.
- Failure to complete
- Inadequate discussion of world affairs.
- Pitiful attempt
- to insert funny haiku
- after the third line
